Hallejuah Il Divo

"My Boys"

David - Carlos - Sebastien - Urs

Once again, I was fortunate enough to see IL DIVO

LIVE at Mohegan Sun on May 12, 2009

Thrill? I have loved these guys since Simon Cowell put them together and introduced them to the world! The picture below tells a bit about "how much" I loved and still love them. :) Our seats were to the left of where they are standing here and higher. My still pictures came out very dark.

So I set up a little shrine as a tribute to "My Boys,"

8x10 pictures - a teddy bear - a mug - and a DVD

I also have a program, of course, and bought a book...loads of pictures and background of each.

Thank you, Simon! :)

My favorite CD to date is "Ancora"

Rufus Wainwright - Hallelujah (Live At The Fillmore)

You know, the Law of Attraction really works!
I was introduced to Rufus Wainwright on YouTube
because I was hunting for this amazing song - One of my all time favorites.

I wanted to see him LIVE but he wasn't coming to any of the casinos in CT. But...something unexpected happened - he scheduled a performance at UCONN! And it's only an hour drive from where I live in RI. And so we went! And what an evening to remember! :)

A drive through UCONN campus to the Jorgensen Center on a trial run - a long drive down a country back road!

There are 3 theaters inside.

Another music video follows in the next post and more photos.

Rufus Wainwright - Hallelujah (feat. Choir! Choir! Choir!)

I love this performance of Hallelujah - very moving.

A look down Hillside Dr.

University of Connecticut

Here are a few more photos from the night I got to see Rufus LIVE at UCONN - what a thrill - I love his voice! An anniversary present - great memory!
