New Writing/Art Project

 I started a new writing and art project 4 days ago writing a page a day and painting as Spirit moves me.

I don't know if every page I write will be titled, "Eternal Life."  I have to see how it evolves. What I do know is that I am enjoying myself and the results of how Spirit is using me creating this project.

Remembering IL DIVO's Carlos Marin

When IL DIVO hit the stage 17 years ago I was an immediate fan! I bought their photos and CD's and DVD's when they came out. I was fortunate and saw them in person at Mohegan Sun in CT, an hour drive from home. It was such a thrill! 

Two days ago I learned via facebook that Carlos Marin had passed away. I was shocked and started crying in disbelief. The world has lost a most beautiful and talented man. 

I just found this old photo of the little "Shrine" I created on my coffee table. 

My thoughts and prayers are with Carlos, his family and friends, and especially his "brothers in song."

May you sing loudly in Heaven, Carlos, so we can still hear you. The world won't be the same without you.

IL DIVO - Hallelujah (Alelujah) (Live Video) - Rest in Peace, Carlos

It is with a heavy heart I am sharing this news about Carlos Marin, beloved member of IL DIVO, who has passed away. I just learned that he became ill around Dec. 9th and then in the hospital on the 16th, and now this heartbreaking news. I followed IL DIVO their whole career and saw them LIVE at Mohegan Sun Arena in CT years ago. It was a thrill of a lifetime. I am so saddened by this news. The world has lost a beautiful and talented man.

55 Years!

~ December 10, 1966 ~

55 years is a long time to be together,

but as alone as we are, we still have each other.

It's still early and Tom is running errands for lottery tickets and a cake for celebrating. I'm having flowers delivered this afternoon as a surprise, and he may bring some home, too, if history and tradition stay true-to-form. Cards and gift exchange later on. Chan's take-out for supper - our lifelong favorite Chinese restaurant two towns away. Then a new "Magnum PI" tonight! Oh, Happy Day!  :)
